Obviously as a legal practice we are in the business of helping people but where possible Baldwin and Robinson’s help goes beyond our services. Always conscious of our CSR policy (Corporate Social Responsibility) and giving back to the community, Baldwin and Robinson actively encourage staff by supporting them with their charity events.

Many of our team are regularly and personally involved in many good causes, whether through fundraising for charity or raising awareness of environmental and animal welfare issues.

This time of year sees a renewed vigour in their efforts, with lots of sporting goals on the horizon.

Mandy Robinson, Manager, is taking part in The Moonwalk on 13th May – a walking marathon (26 miles), overnight through London to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. Although a very serious and noble cause the event brings together thousands of women for a fun and light-hearted sporting event, with a sea of pink ladies disappearing into the night.

Simon Robinson & Stuart Baldwin, Partners, are also taking part in the Royal Parks half marathon in October. Simon is taking the opportunity to raise money for Tommys, the baby charity. While Stuart is supporting the event by taking part and raising sustainable funds for the Royal Parks Foundation which supports London’s eight Royal Parks. The half marathon follows a stunning 13.1 mile route, taking in London’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, including four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

Each year Baldwin and Robinson choose a charity to support throughout the year. This year they are supporting Last Chance Animal Rescue. They have already raised £1100 which has been generously donated by clients.

Following the animal theme, Jobie also volunteers for various animal rescue charities doing home checks to ensure animals are being adopted into responsible and safe homes.

In addition to our chosen charity for the year, Baldwin and Robinson are delighted to be a sponsor for the second year for the Titsey Trail 10k. The Titsey Trail 10K is a scenic trail race organised by Oxted Runners through the glorious woodlands of the ancient Titsey Estate on Limpsfield Chart in Surrey.

The race is staged to raise money for local charities and since its inception in 2009, over £50,000 has been donated to numerous charities.
